Synopsis

Works and looks Gilang (Fathir Muchtar) makes Meisya (Marsha Timothy), his girlfriend, thinks Gilang not serious about their relationship. Meisya guess Gilang only care about themselves. When Gilang trying to improve its relations with Meisya he was surprised by the arrival of his family who brought problems.

Her mother (Marcella Loumowa) wants a divorce from his father (Djarwo Kuwat) because his father wanted polygamy with women who met at karaoke. His uncle who was suffering from mental disorders since leaving his aunt who choose to be lesbian with mbok Ijah (Yulinda), their maid. Grandfather (Sutrisna) and grandmother (Djaety) had separate beds. His grandfather is flirtatious and cocky style of young people like to talk to herself while her grandmother with her imaginary friend.

Their presence makes life chaotic Gilang. It is impossible for Gilang to introduce his family is not normal at Meisya born from a very conservative family. Gilang worried that it would make Meisya fear associated with it. Finally, to cover the presence of his family, Gilang start creating lies. The first is next to create a lie that just makes life Gilang and messing with Meisya.

They embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they find out about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life’s many wonders as unpredictably thrown mutually. ‘Rio’ also brings collectively a menagerie of bright characters, a heart-warming story, colorful backdrops, stimulating Latin & modern music, and family-friendly song & dance.

Kylie (Indah Kalalo), a famous director. She lives with her fiance, Robby (Andreano Phillip), in an apartment in Jakarta. For his latest movie, she specially invited an actress who are also her friend from Kuala Lumpur, Jenna (Aida Saskia). She inspired by her favourite TV series that she watch everyday.

The TV serial was the story about a famous artist named Patty (Angel Lelga) with her boyfriend, Rocky and her friend, Joena (Lia Ladysta, Trio macan). Unfortunately on the first night of Patty-Rocky marriage, tragedy happened. Patty and the whole house was massacred, murdered in a very vicious way. The one that survives is only Tommy, Patty's brother. But as a result he was accused as perpetrators of murder.

Kylie did not realize what was happening in their daily life was portrayed in the series. One by one incident drove some open fact makes a mystery to be solved. Aunt Rose, the old residents of the apartment, was commemorated Robby that he must be very careful.
